This weekend Old Spitalfields Market in London became the place to be for those who love wine, food and fun at Mercado Chileno. There was dancing, there was music, there was food, there were pisco sours but above all there were Chilean wine producers galore!
Oz, Tim and Olly were mobbed as they conducted speed tastings. The formula was simple. They each chose their two favourite wine finds of the session and visitors were invited to discover why this wine was special. When two minutes was up the bell rang and it was time to move to the next barrel to hear about a new wine. It was fast, it was fun, it was Three Wine Men on fire.
There was a special addition at this event as the trio became a quartet as Susy Atkins, winewriter for The Sunday Telegraph, joined Three Wine Men to give insight into matching Chilean food and wine. We all know that Chileans love their advocados but did you know how much they love their salmon? The executive Chef from The Savoy, Francisco Hernandez, produced some amazing Chilean delicacies whilst Susy found delicious wines to match with them.
If you were there, tell us about it on Twitter. If not, join us at one of the Three Wine Men Christmas Tastings to ensure you are part of the action.
