Join us for the wine tasting of the year!

Wine-lovers of Manchester unite! On 17th – 18th November The Exchange Hall at Manchester Central will be transformed into a wine wonderland – the highlight of every wine-lover’s calendar. This year’s tasting extravaganza will be hosted by Oz Clarke, Tim Atkin MW and a Manchester’s very own wine superstar Kate Goodman.

They will also be joined by Susy Atkins of The Telegraph will be hosting A Splash of Gin, an area to introduce you to a range of boutique gin distillers.

Oz, Tim, Kate and Susy will be on hand and ready to point you in the direction of some top tipples. You grab a glass and move from table to table to taste and buy from the hundreds of wines and gins on offer. They will be mingling with the visitors to answer questions, give recommendations or generally engage in wine chat.

As well as the main tasting there will also be three fantastic masterclasses: Port and Chocolate matching, A Splash of Gin and award-winning wines from Spain paired up with some gourmet goodies.

You may just simply come to taste but many of the exhibitors will have special offers on their wines and gin so you can treat yourself to your favourites to take home and enjoy. This is the perfect time to fill up the wine rack to get ready for Christmas. With unlimited samples on offer you will be totally spoilt for choice. Get ready to dip yourself in deliciousness and find something to thrill you from your tongue to your toes!

In this masterclass you will have a chance to taste a selection of this year’s winners from the Wines from Spain Awards. Under the expert eye of Tim Atkin MW, a panel of top judges have sipped their way through 600+ Spanish wines to come up with the definitive list of what’s hot to buy right now in the UK. We will be pairing up the wines with some delicious Spanish gourmet goodies for you to try.

A Splash of Gin Masterclass

Susy Atkins, gin guru and drinks writer for The Telegraph Stella magazine, will guide you through a selection of her favourite premium gins. You will have a chance to sniff and sip them in their pure state and then mix them with the new delicious artisan tonics from Luscombe’s Drinks to appreciate how they taste in a long drink.
