On the evening of Thursday 17th May it is all about fizz. Oz, Tim and Olly have searched the globe for their favourite Champagnes and sparkling wines and invite you to come and share them. From the classic Grande Marque Champagnes to the sought-after English Sparkling Wines, Italy’s best Franciacortas and Proseccos to top effervescent gems from more unexpected areas of the wine world, there will be something for every palate.
At this walkaround tasting Oz, Tim and Olly will be mingling with everyone, so this is your chance to chat with them about the great bottles on offer.
There is also a fantastic masterclass with Champagne Gosset and Le Cordon Bleu offering you some very special wines from their cellar. A separate ticket is needed for the masterclass and main tasting. The masterclass is 35 minutes leaving you plenty of time to enjoy the main tasting.
You may taste as many wines as you wish and many of the exhibitors will have special offers on their wines so you can treat yourself to your favourites to take home and enjoy. Tickets are very limited for this special tasting and sold out last year so if you love the bubbles as much as we do click on the link to buy your tickets now. What a perfect start to the summer.
At this unique masterclass you can taste a selection of some very special bottles of hand-crafted Champagnes from Gosset, Champagne’s oldest wine house, paired with canapés from the world-famous Le Cordon Bleu London.
The masterclass will be presented by David Hargreaves from Louis Latour Agencies and he will be joined by Matthieu Longuere MS, Le Cordon Bleu London’s Wine Development Manager, who will explain the principals behind each of the pairings.
Gosset is known for its small scale approach, extended aging on lees and high-quality sourcing policy which focuses on premier and grand cru vineyards surrounding Epernay and Aÿ. The tasting will include Gosset Grand Blanc de Noirs, a special limited edition of only 5,000 bottles and the first Blanc de Noir produced in more than 430 years of the house’s history.
A separate ticket is needed for the masterclass and main tasting. The masterclass is 35 minutes leaving you plenty of time to enjoy the main tasting.
